Officially Apple does NOT support Windows 10 on this Mac. Windows 10 must be installed in the legacy BIOS mode for all functions to work on a Macbook Pro Late 2011. After days of effort pursuing this problem, here is my solution. You could try creating a backup image using Disk Utility but I would not recommend it as a sole backup solution.I tried the Cirrus Logic fix to no avail. If you ever succeed in getting Windows 10 running then please create a bootable backup using WinClone or CarbonCop圜loner.

If all else fails and you have a working Product Key for Windows 7 or 8 then you can install one of these older versions Windows.

If you have or can borrow an external SuperDrive then burning the Windows 10 ISO to DVD and booting the installer from that should bypass these restrictions and allow the installer to complete.
